TWO CARE ASSISTANTS

Starting: September 2026

Fixed Term for one year

Salary:  Grade 2, Point 4 (Pro Rata)

F/T equivalent salary would be £25,185 (£13.45/hr)

The Governors of Bagthorpe Primary School are seeking to appoint two Care Assistants.

These posts are to assist pupils with their day-to-day personal care needs and to work alongside other professional staff to further pupils’ independence skills.

There are two posts available and the working hours are between 8.30am to 3.10pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time only, although part-time hours will be considered and paid pro-rata.

We are looking for caring and patient individuals, who love working with children and who have a positive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork.  A commitment to raising standards and a willingness to participate in the full life of the school are essential.
