Good morning lovely Elm Class!
I am excited to see you all tomorrow . You should be extra proud of yourself for being so amazing during our home-school learning because I certainly am.
This morning start by having a read of your home reading book or choose one to read on Oxford Owl. After this you can complete your morning SPAG task, which looks at using 'an' and 'a' correctly. English today is looking at up-levelling writing to turn boring sentences into exciting ones, which I know you will all be great at because we have been practising our writing skills so much.
When you complete your maths tasks-remember to read those word problems carefully. Some require more than one calculation and these are called 2-step word problems. Explain your answers using mathematical language and strong mathematical sentence starters (like we practice so often in class!). Underline key parts of the word problem so you are clear on what calculations it is requiring you to do.
This afternoon you can take a look through the Tudor crime PowerPoint and have a go at the worksheets. There is an easy, middle and hard level attached ( 1, 2 and 3 star) so choose which one you feel comfortable with and make sure you refer back to the PP to help you or look online for some extra exciting Tudor information. I am going to be quizzing your knowledge on Wednesday!
Have a great dat and I will see you all tomorrow!
