THEN JOIN US FOR OUR GOOGLE CLASSROOM MEET UP AT 9:15
THEN 15 MINUTES PLAYING ROCKSTARS TODAY - AS WE ARE BEGINNING TO LEARN THE 3 TIMES TABLE.
THEN 15 MINUTES HANDWRTING / SPELLING PRACTISE.
I want you to practise some of the er and est words from last week by putting them into sentences - focus on you handwriting and the spellings. You can also use the handwriting paper to help you if you want to. Today I want you to think about words that double the last consonant e.g.:
sad - sadder and saddest (double the d)
big - bigger and biggest (double the g)
Yesterday, I read the BALLOON TRICK and MR TWIT GETS A SHOCK. If you want to, you can read them again before you start today's work.
WE HAVE READ LOTS OF TRICKS THAT MR AND MRS TWIT PLAYED ON EACH OTHER. THINK ABOUT WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE. WHICH TRICK IS THE FUNNIEST. WHICH TRICK IS THE MOST CLEVER?
TOMORROW WE WILL BE WRITING A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE BOOK - TELLING ME ABOUT A NEW TRICK THAT MR OR MRS TWIT PLAY ON EACH OTHER.
TODAY WE ARE GOING TO PLAN THE TRICK.
1.HERE ARE SOME OBJECTS. THINK ABOUT HOW THE OBJECTS COULD BE USED IN A TRICK.
- A HAMSTER (PRETEND IT IS A MONSTER)
- SELLOTAPE (STICK SOMETHING UP)
- A RUBBER SNAKE (PRETEND IT IS REAL)
- A BUCKET OF MUD (PLAY A TRICK WHEN HE IS WASHING HIS CAR)
- A REMOTE CONTROLLER (PLAY A TRICK WHEN THEY ARE WATCHING TV)
2. NOW LOOK AROUND YOU HOUSE AND THINK ABOUT HOW SOME OF THE OBJECTS YOU SEE COULD BE USED IN A TRICK.
3. DRAW A DIAGRAM OF THE TRICK YOU WANT TO WRITE ABOUT (A PICTURE WITH LABELS).
4, ACT OUT THE TRICK - YOU COULD USE YOUR TEDDIES TO DO THIS OR ASK SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSE TO ACT IT OUT WITH YOU. THINK ABOUT WHAT THE CHARACTERS DO AND SAY.

- WATCH THE WHITE ROSE MATHS VIDEO
- COMPLETE AT LEAST ONE WORKSHEET - BOTH IF YOU ARE A SUPER SPEEDY WORKER.
- MARK THE WORKSHEET.
- EMAIL IF YOU FOUND THIS REALLY HARD.

After that I want you to create a some slide about HOW TO USE GOOGLE CLASSROOM- look in your classwork and you will see the assignment.
